Freelance Writing Jobs: the May round-up
Writing awards, bursaries and residencies with upcoming deadlines.
Hello! How has your week been? I celebrated my wedding anniversary with books, and roast chicken. Some kissing, too. May is such an excellent writing month – good for iced coffees and little outside tables. An abundance of prizes and residencies are closing soon, including a literary prize I won a couple of years back and a residency that I was awarded last year. Whatever you’re up to today – writing, books, kissing – I hope it’s marvellous.
"A career-changing book... if you're thinking about going freelance, read this first," says GQ’s Oliver Franklin-Wallis.
My book The Pyjama Myth: the Freelance Writer's Survival Guide will make you a better, happier freelancer and you can order your copy from Bookshop.
